NWR: Upper Lip Waxing?

Funny subject. but serious question! Do any of you ladies wax or shave your upper lip? I am seriously contemplating waxing mine. I think only I notice it as it's not that much, but it bothers me!!! For those that have done it, does it grow back the same or worse? Opinions, please!!

I had to start waxing in my late 30's, been doing it ever since. It doesn't come back darker/thicker. Not sure about the aging part, guess because they are pulling your skin. However, I haven't noticed any wrinkles around that part of my face ...only around my eyes, and I definitely don't wax my crows feet Smiley smile

If you have darker hair I'd be careful with the bleaching.. dark hair tends to bleach orangish... also if its long or thick enough even if its blonde it will still show in the sun.. I've seen women with blonde mustaches..

I used to get mine waxed but I just started getting them threaded. It hurts more, but it lasts a lot longer. I do not reccommend shaving.

I get mine waxed. Grows back lighter. I go back every two weeks so when I go for my eyebrows I get that done as well

@Sharon I heard it's from the stripping away of the layers of your skin, but if you haven't noticed anything it must either not be true or depend on your skin!

Yep my skin is pretty oily, I bet if you were a fair skinned person with drier skin, waxing could be pretty rough on your skin
