NWR - College/University friends

I'm 25 and I am truthfully closer to those I went to HS with then the people I am graduating with.

my roommate is in my wedding but 3 others are girls I grew up with.

and there really isn't anyone I went to college with invited. haha!

I only physically see 2 people from college still. One is from my BA program & is my MOH and we have a standing dinner date every Thursday. The other is from my teacher credential program and is a BM - we see each other every couple weeks, but talk often.

Other than that, I keep in touch with people via FB every so often, but I don't really spend much time with anyone from college. We all grow up and move away, it's part of life.

Edit: I'm 28, if that makes any difference :p

Outside of Facebook, pretty much none. We all spread out and none of us (including myself) have ever been good at long distance correspondence. I did manage to see my friend who lives in Denver when I was out there last summer and we hadn't spoken in a few years. Another one calls me every 4-6 months, but we haven't seen each other since in 3 or 4 years. She is coming to my wedding and the only one from college that I invited.

FH keeps in touch with 2 of his college friends quite often. A few more of his good friends went to the same college as him (an it is a small college), but he didn't really know them until after college. He met them through his brother.

@Mrs.K--you sound like my FH. Doesn't talk to any of his college friends, but still talks regularly to all of his friends from High School (even though he doesn't even live in his home town anymore).

Besides Facebook, I only have two friends from college that I have kept in actual touch with. They were roommates, and to make matters even simpler, they are siblings so if I keep track of one, then I've got them both covered They're probably my only college friends I will invite to the wedding.

Yeah MrsK i'm the same my close group of friends are all from HS.

We all went different places for uni but stayed really good friends. Half of us went back home the rest at most 2 hours away.

I only talk to a couple of people from college.. One of my good friends that I met in high school was a BM in my wedding.. I would say a total of 3 from college and like 6 from high school pretty much..

I personally graduated two years ago, and I've only been in contact from 1 person from my class. The issue might've been that I've been working way too hard on a customwriting review when I was studying, so my focus on my job made me lose all the contact. I can assure you that there are many people like you! Some are blessed with amazing classmates who remain their friends for ages, while some find right people elsewhere. Don't really focus on this
