Number of bridesmaids and groomsmen

So we went from four on each side to a possible seven! Yikes. Too me that feels like a lot. What do you guys think? Or how many do you have in your bridal party?! I'd love to know your thoughts and what you're doing! Or how many you have!

We have 6 on both sides. I've seen where there are 12 on both sides. I think you're good and it depends on the ppl too - if they are easy to work with

We had 6 on each side--it got a little bit bigger than we expected it to, but in the end it didn't really impact planning in any way and we felt pretty lucky to have so many important and beloved people in our lives. too many friends is a good problem to have. Smiley smile

That's a lot in my opinion but if your venue can handle it, go for it

We currently have six each. I had the same reaction where it felt like it just kept ballooning in size, but given a few days I got used to the idea and it doesn't stress me out anymore.

FH and I will each be doing 4. We like the even numbers and we don't want to have too many BM and GM as it can get difficult when coordinating schedules. Also it's more cost-effective for us to have less!

We have 4 on each side and that's plenty in my opinion. If you have a lot of siblings and family members I understand how it could be a lot more, but I wouldn't want just anyone standing up there with us, they have to be our closest friends. I think when there's 10 or more on each side is ridiculous, too many hands in the pot so to speak, but to each their own!

Including flower girls and ring bearer, we have 16. Not about the numbers, it's about who you want standing by your side Smiley smile

We went from 4 to 6 on each side (mix of genders on each side)--it felt a little big to me but honestly in the end it felt so nice to have that many people who meant that much to us!

We each have 8. I'm sure some think that's too many. I don't care. We each happened to have 8 people that we couldn't do without, so that's what we went with.

I think that it's totally up to you! I've seen people with none to 10....I'm having 7 and FH is having 6. I wanted to be even, but in the end I wanted all 7 girls and didn't feel like FH needed to add someone just to match.

Oh, we also have a flower girl and two ring bearers (my niece and nephews)

I am having 2 on my side and fh is having 6. He felt obligated to ask more people since he has been a groomsmen in a few of there's.

We started with 5 on each side and now we have 6 and 7. It's not about the number, though. It's about who is your nearest and dearest.

We started with 6 bridesmaids and 5 groomsmen. Ended up with 5 of each. This was by no means intentional. We just happen to have 11 close friends / sisters / brothers of which comprised the bridal party and a bridesmaid requested to be a guest instead 5 months before the wedding.

I decided early on that we'd have either 1 or 3 on each side. I skipped any drama by not having friends (they don't always get along) or by hurting sisters as I didn't want all 5 or a party that size. I knew I wanted to still keep it family n choose my 3 closest, adult nieces. I've watched them all grow up from babies Smiley smile
