November Weather - Too Cold??

Hey ladies, I need some serious advice. I just got engaged to this amazing dude and we're planning a short engagement, so we're getting married in November. Possibly the 10 or 11. Even the 3 or 4. We're big outdoor fanatics, so we want an outdoor ceremony, but would it be too cold in New Hampshire to have the reception in a heated tent? Thoughts?

Congratulations on your engagement! I'm a NH bride myself Smiley smile

Like others have been saying, I believe an outdoor reception for November would be pushing it. Even with heaters and bonfires. Be mindful of ALL guests.

    Happy planning!

I'm getting married on Nov. 4th in RI. We have the option to have the ceremony outside, but opted to keep it all inside. The New England weather has been really weird lately and it was 65-70 degrees that weekend last year, but this year it could be snowing. It isn't a risk we were willing to take, so we chose indoors. Our venue has a lot of windows to see outside, so maybe try something with that option?

People of all ages have arthritis and chronic pain conditions that are exacerbated by the cold. Putting on an extra sweater just won't cut it.

Great thoughts everybody! I think we have found a beautiful venue where we can still have the ceremony and pics outdoors and the reception indoors.

@AlyssaWynne, the mountain we are on is Mount Osceola in Waterville Valley. Smiley smile
