Novelty wedding Planning Survival Kit

Future Mrs. Panda, on June 12, 2012 at 1:10 PM Posted in Planning 0 16

So..I have gotten survival kits before where the different items represent different sentiments. I thought it would be fun to make these for members of the bridal party and family who will be helping with the wedding planning. I couldn't find any for wedding planning, so I took some of the others I found am trying to creat my own. I would put all the items into some sort of container and then print out a card with a description of each item. What do you think of these ideas? Are there too many?

Paper and Pencil- to record all the brillant ideas

Life saver- because I know you'll be one

Pacifier- to calm the Bride when she gets overwhelmed

Paper Clip- to hold the Bride's nerves together

Rubberband- to remind you to be flexible when the Bride disagrees with you

Bubble gum- to stick with the Bride (even when she disagrees with you)

Candy hearts- to remember how loved you are (and what this is all really about)

Shot glass-remember who's calling the shots

con't...

Gold Medal- because you will do fabulous

Star Burst- to give you an extra burst of energy

Marbles- incase you lose yours (or the Bride loses hers)

Sunflower seeds- If you were a flower, I'd pick you every time

Horse Shoe- to Thank 'U' for being there

String- for helping us to tie the knot

Watch- to keep you (and the Bride) on schedule

Tooth pick- to help pick the best of everything for the perfect day

I also would have to think about what order I want these things written in on the card. Let me know what you ladies think. Thanks!!!

Cute! I'd probably leave out the shot glass--could sound a little rude.

@ Lisa M. I was already considering leaving the shot glass out. I think I'm also going to make survival kits for the day of the wedding and hand them out at the rehearsal dinner. That one will have a shot glass- to toast the happy couple.

Aw, the shot glass was my favorite Smiley smile

Maybe a silk flower instead of the seeds, or change it to something like "in hopes that we will grow closer as the wedding blooms" It's a leap for me to connect a seed with the flower.
