Nov. Brides How Far Are You In Planning

Venue done, DJ done, photographer done, bridesmaid dress bought, wedding dress bought, seamstress is picked out but no alterations yet, hotel block is done, shuttle service is all done, my wedding band is picked bc it’s an heirloom (not FHs yet), centerpieces are 70% done and invite stationary is a draft in my photoshop account. That’s what I can think of on the top of my head.

That's a good amount of work done ....I did some of the same thing . But I still have to order my cake . When is ur big day.

View Quoted Comment Wellllll this is all from last year because we were supposed to get married last October. I haven’t done anything in 7 months. 😂 It’s time to get the ball rolling again! We are doing our food tasting and cake tasting in July. Our venue is partnered with a bakery so it’s nice we don’t have to worry about finding a baker, we just have to set up the appointment for the tasting.


Next on our radar is setting up the church and talking with our priest. I’ll start alterations in a few months, and also set up hair and makeup in the summer too and contact the flower market we’re using for flowers. I don’t think we need any more vendors after that, at least what I can think as of now.

We're getting married Nov 6th. I have so far got my venue , we're having wedding at the Reniassance Hotel and we're going to do a blend ceremony and reception. It's saves the cost of doing it at two different locations. I also got our Dj, photographer, I got my dress , my BM dress. My FH groomsmen don't know he's taking care of that . I have still have to figure out my hair and makeup. I'm doing my own deco ...I made my centerpieces and table set up . This is what I got so far.

This is my inspiration for our centerpieces as we’re making them also ourselves, lots of candles. I bought about 100 brass candlesticks from thrift stores all around town, just need to get the dripless candles from the dollar store and a little greenery.
