Not hiring florist

I’m trying to cut down on cost. I’m not hiring a florist. I plan on making eucalyptus boutineers/ bouquets, and using Italian Rucus as loose greenery for table decor. Anyone’s else not hiring a florist? The pictures are my inspiration

We are doing all fake flowers! Except for the flower girls flowers, they have to be real. I bought mine from hobby lobby when they are half off and put them together myself!

I plan on doing baby breath bouquets so i'm hoping going to a florist those wont be too expensive. I'm also planning on making my own centerpieces with hydrangeas from "dollar hydrangea club". I'm nervous about doing it myself because although I think I can i'm scared they wont come out great!

Those are really pretty and should be simple to do. I didn't hire a florist.

Are tables are long so I am using silver dollar eucalyptus, purple sage, and spanish moss as a long garlad. Moss we have here in Central Florida so I'm going to pick it from the trees. Purple Sage and eucalyptus I'm getting from Whole foods. Spending $25. My hand held flowers are going to be calla lollies from a local nusery potted plants 2 that I can cut and make my own bouquets. Price $20. You may want to look around where you live and see what grows in your area that you coulsd hand pick and not have to use a florist. Lowe's has some nice flowers or herbs that have flowers you could use.

I'm considering doing the same. Does anyone have suggestions on where to get real greenery for like table decor? I'm all good with fake flowers but the greenery is just never real enough for me.

We aren't hiring a florist! I chose to order bulk flowers from Fiftyflowers.com. we are going to DIY the bouquets, and will be doing simple petal and greenery sprigs with votive candles for centerpieces/table runners on our rectangular farm tables. For our ceremony decor, I have DIY'd silk floral arrangements! (I'll find photos and post them in a bit!). DIY florals can totally be done! All the weddings in my family have DIY'd florals as well, and we always work together and they come out beautifully!

My mom and myself were shocked at how beautiful they were. So I ended up buying the geo cubes for my card/gift table and the garland for our head table. I am doing eucalyptus leaves for the center pieces, a lot of babies breath as well. The florist said that those are one of the least expensive options, I think for my whole bridal party/parents(flowers), center pcs and cake flowers was $600.00 with delivery included. I was stoked at the cost and it is all thanks to finding the Ling's flowers, I am using a lot of them to cut the cost of real flowers by a ton.

Yes I did! I just bought the flowers from Solawoodflowers.com and then dyed them myself, stuck them with wire stems and arranged the bouquets Smiley smile all of it I did. I actually have more made than these they're just not pictured. I had 7 boutonnieres, 4 BM bouquets, 1 MOH bouquet, a bridal bouquet and 2 corsages and spent maybe $150 on all the flowers and supplies.

Thank you! Its been fun. Now that price was me hitting some sales (like 4th of July sales and memorial weekend sales and what not). At full price it would have been maybe $250 but again still can't beat it. I did everything for myself and parents and bridal party AND I had a lot left over for centerpieces and decorations!

Okay, so these are awesome. I am not hiring a florist so I am looking into alternatives. When you purchase from amazon, do they come with the full stem?
