Non traditional wedding dress!

I saw some beautiful colored wedding dresses at the bridal shop. I was amazed at how bridal they seemed without being white. So cool.

Mine is lavender. I got it at Vera Wang, and I feel freaking FANTASTIC about being non traditional. My bridesmaids are wearing ivory!

I LOVE non-traditional dresses! Do what you love and you won't regret it! My dress isn't completely non-traditional but it's not like the others I've seen over and over. Simple champagne lace over champagne but I loved it! I got mine from Etsy!

I never wanted white, and also wanted blue. But, when I saw this on Pinterest I knew it was the one. I looked high and low for months until I found it.

Well I finally got my own dress! Bridesmaids will be in white. ☺️

I wanted white for the tradition but also didnt feel like the all white traditional was the way for me to go. My mom actually convinced me that I should look for something that had a bit of both. I found this one on JJ's House and fell in love with it! This is from my first alteration appointment; literally only thing wrong with it was the shoulder height. will add sleeves next appointment!

That dress is SO gorgeous. And even though it's not white, it feels so bridal. I can only imagine how gorgeous the pictures will be with your bridesmaids in white. This is a knock out.

I thought I would go with a white dress and as soon as I started trying dresses on, I realized I just didn't feel right in a white dress. I ended up going with a burgundy red velvet number for our holiday wedding. I'm nervous about this much skin showing (mostly the front) but everyone I show this picture to seems to love it so maybe I should just stop having dress anxiety, haha.
