Non diamond rings :)

My center stone is a moissanite. I love how sparkly they are and would love to share with anyone who wants more info on them! I did lots of research before settled on this stone and I dont think I could be happier with our purchase. The side stones and the wedding bands are lab created diamonds because I wanted to make sure they were conflict free. LOVE opal OP my promise ring is an opal because it is his birthstone. Pink sapphires and/or any clear stone in general are my faves!

My promise ring is in this photo, but I left it in Mexico on our honeymoon. And I replaced it with the second photo.

I don’t have a diamond engagement ring. I personally don’t like diamonds, they just don’t do anything for me. And my engagement ring only cost $10

My FH knows that I don’t really believe in engagement rings. If he had gotten me an expensive one, I’d still love it. I just have a hard time understanding why the bride-to-be gets a fancy ring and the guy gets nothing. That’s just my feelings on it, I have no judgement to others.

So, I was quite pleased that he proposed with a silver mermaid tail ring. We’re planning on doing tattoos as well after the wedding. I’m getting a wedding band tattoo and he is getting a larger piece for me. We’re not very traditional.

We did get wedding bands too, but he won’t wear his most of the time since he hates wearing rings. And his ring is super chunky! My wedding band is a custom octopus tentacle ring with our birthstones.

We’re just sort of doing our own thing. But I do love gemstones and antique rings. Everyone’s rings here are so pretty.

Sapphire for mine

Your ring is beautiful! Here is my ring. While it is all diamonds, I love the thought of non diamond rings as well. My center stone is a 1 carat round and a family heirloom. The halo is made out of oval stones instead of the typical rounds. I love halos but didn't want it to be like everyone else's. He custom designed the whole thing, and helped source the oval stones (way harder than one would think apparently! I guess they don't make ovals in small sizes very often).
