    Dry weddings aren't against etiquette. That's why I suggested that op actually ask around. A morning or early afternoon reception without alcohol is not unheard of and a planner is better able to help her work that out.

    Absolutely!! We will NOT be serving Alcohol at our wedding either. Maybe this will allow the Alcohol Drinkers to leave early ... haaahaahaha. My best friend had Champagne (I think) but also Apple Cider for the NON- Alcoholic drinkers like myself and a COUPLE others.
