No place to attach drapes

See if there are some party/event rental companies that can provide structures to hold the drapes without hanging stuff off the walls. You could even check out what they offer and try to match that another way. The main concern is keep the curtains up while minimizing supports where people my trip over.

I should have added that some decorating companies provide interesting draping designs. I first caught on to this with a Russian wedding video that might be a real wedding but seems like a promotional with the bride who seems accustomed to modeling.
