Hi guys, I register just to share with someone what is bothering me. I'm getting married soon. We invited approximately 150 people, but only 20 of that number are my guests, guests I invited. All other people are my FH's guests. The thing is - no one out of 20 people I invited will come. I even don't know I feel about it and how should I react.
The wedding is in my FH's hometown, 500 km drive from the city we live in and the vast majority of guests live there.

Aw, I'm sorry that happened. That really is disappointing. I really don't have words to say except to enjoy the people that did show up for you for your day, even if they are your FH's guests, technically you will all be family.

That’s not fun. Are you having a private ceremony where most guests are invited to the reception only? I’ve seen that as the reason on this app for low or no attendance.

Hi Shannon, yes we are having private ceremony, but that is common here where we live. We don't have church wedding and you can't invite anyone to registry office. Maybe the reason is that this is my second mariage. Nevertheles, real friends would come.

Chris, I'm so sorry to hear that. I can't imagine how much that hurts your heart. I do not doubt that your FH, and his friends and family will absolutely shower you with love and fill that gap! I hope you're able to look past that and still have an incredible day.

I'm sorry and I feel your pain. All of my family is in MN and we are getting married in CA. My Dad can't even make it due to health issues and not being able to travel and my sister is out of the country and won't make it either.
