How do you word that on the invitation? Wait, do you even put it on the invitation? If not, then where do you put it?

I don't think you need to put it in writing anywhere..website, invitation or otherwise. Something like a cash bar is something that should be spread via word of mouth through family and friends. Sometimes offering just wine, beer and a signature cocktail really isn't that much more expensive.

Ok thanks everyone. I think I'm going to put it on the website the way JJ stated, I really liked it. And also I'll start spreading it word of mouth. That way everyone knows!

@Celia - I do not agree. It's tacky to assume that you are going to celebrate someone's union and EXPECT to drink for free. It is not a right, its a perk. I am SO SICK of people saying "If you don't spend X then you're tacky." "If you don't spend Y then you're tacky." That's BS and a self-serving attitude. You should simply feel HONORED and GRATEFUL that someone thought enough of you to invite you to their wedding. Any attitude past that is tacky.
