No engagement ring....thinking about getting an engagement ring as a wedding ring

I didn’t get a ring when I got engaged because my fiancé and I are a bit older and we already live together, so I told him to save his money....we both definitely have better things to spend it on (like rent...and food 😃)

We’re now starting to look at wedding rings, and it seems like all the rings I like (I think they’re called trinity rings - they have a simple band with 3 stones) are engagement rings, not wedding bands. Has anybody heard of somebody getting an engagement ring AS their wedding ring? I mean, there generally aren’t any rules with this kind of thing, I just want people to know I’m married....

    Yup! I only wear my e-ring. I never wanted a wedding band. It’s perfectly find to get both, or just get one or the other. 🤗

    A lot of people wear an inherited ring that was originally a cocktail or engagement ring, as their only, wedding ring. particularly in Victorian multicolor stones at the moment with Boho and Romantic Styles.

    Of course that’s fine! You may get a few people who assume you’re just engaged, but most people don’t think about it that seriously.

    You do you! Technically, I got a wedding band as my engagement ring and a second wedding band on our wedding day (I wear them stacked).

    I just have my engagement ring on my finger. I don't even have a wedding band. Wear what you like!

    The basset unfortunately isn't mine, but I saw the pic and thought it was too cute. Poor pets put up with so much...it would be fun to see what they would decide to dress us in if they had their choice!

    Good morning I didn’t catch your name so I apologize but just wanted to let you know I am much older myself to I got married July 24 of 2020 and Puerto Rico I also did not have my wedding band because we were saving all our money for our wedding reception which was horrible because our wedding planner it’s such a lousy job. My husband and I was talking And my husband saw how upset I was. About not having a wedding so for our first year wedding anniversary he will be getting me my ring enhancer that is a wedding band where your engagement sets in it’s beautiful we ordered it it Hass to get size and we are waiting for the rain to come back but I won’t wear it until our first year wedding anniversary so with that being said it’s important to us women to have a wedding band but you can wait go ahead and enjoy your engagement ring enjoy your day may you have a beautiful and blessed wedding
