nj venues that allow outside catering

Alexa, on July 27, 2018 at 12:59 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 7

Hi all!

I've been searching for days and haven't found any venues that allow outside catering in NJ. There are a few women's clubs but I am not a fan of the look. Does anyone have recommendations for venues that I'm not thinking of/unable to find?! We are going for a clean, classic, elegant, traditional look...no barns/farms/wineries/tents please. Would love something on the water (our ideal venue is clark's landing in point pleasant). HELP PLEASE!!! Smiley smile

If you already have a caterer in mind, I would ask them what venues they’ve worked at.

Thank you! it's actually an out of state caterer who will be doing it for us, so he is not familiar with venues in the state.

I lived in Point until recently and I cannot think of anyplace there where you could bring in your own caterer. Have you looked at Asbury? The Watermark is stunning and this is on their website:

Off –Premise Catering For receptions with over 150 guests, or those clients desiring an off-premise caterer, Watermark provides the venue rental and ‘wedding open bar’ service only - and clients are required to contract with an outside caterer of choice for all food service. Any off-premise food provider must be a licensed, insured and reputable company. Caterers must provide all food, servers and equipment needed for food service – and agree to certain menu requirements. A list of currently approved catering partners can be provided.

Here is their website : http://www.watermarkap.com/Wedding_brochure.pdf

I have been there for a wedding, it is different and beautiful!

Camden County Boathouse has a list of preferred Caterers but I don't know what their policy is for going off list. They are on the water though (but not a beach) and might be a reasonable option!

The water witch club in the highlands. Not exactly on the water, but it's close. Very pretty venue!
