Night before wedding alone?

Hi everyone! My fiancé and I are having a backyard wedding at a cabin we’re renting. The cabin is big enough for us to not see each other the night before the wedding. Since our ceremony isn’t until late afternoon, I didn’t want to make the wedding party stay the night. My fiancé and I are completely fine spending it alone. I think it will be a great time to decompress and do some self-care. Is this weird? Any thoughts?

I spent the night before our wedding alone and it was great. We went out for drinks after our RD and then I came home and watched Runaway Bride. The next morning was nice to get up and calmly have coffee with my doggo before his dog sitter picked him up and the craziness of the day started.

For my first wedding, I spent the night in the hotel alone. It was nice. You can’t really avoid that excited feelings, whether you’re alone or with someone. But I preferred getting more rest than that talking the night away with the bridesmaids.

Not weird at all. The FH and I are dong the same thing. Our venue has a cabin for me that I will be staying at and he will be at our home about 40 minutes away. My bridal party all want to stay with me which I am all for that way I don't have to stress about them in the morning. Just wake up drink coffee and pray that all goes well.
