Nice cheap wedding venues. Detroit mi

on April 25, 2019 at 8:40 AM Posted in Michigan Planning 0 12
Hey there! Looking for any really nice cheaper wedding venues around Detroit Michigan. I’m thinking our budget will be around 10,000 but would be great to keep it much much below 10,000. Thanks!(:

I'm in Flat Rock, and i've been searching for that too. How close to and around Detroit are you? Have you considered local community centers? We're looking into one and it's 275 dollars and another 125 if we get the kitchen.

I’m in Westland so about 30 minutes from Detroit. I haven’t looked at local community centers but I will give that a look 😊

Hi Blair! I’m so happy to welcome you to the WeddingWire community! Congratulations on your engagement!

Have you had the chance to browse around the WeddingWire site? There is a great vendor directory tool that might give you some suggestions of venues for your wedding. Listed here are the Detroit Wedding Venues. You can filter this search to your specific date, guest count and venue style. I hope you have fun looking around!

Do you know what style of venue you are looking for?

Try to think outside the box. Search "company gatherings venue" and you get cheaper and more interesting ideas. Museums, gardens, renaissance festival in holly is a good deal. Personally picked the flints farmers market

Check out Vintage House Catering/Vintage Gardens Chapel.

Super affordable, but both the hall and the chapel are really nice and I'm stoked that my guests will just have a walk across the parking lot between the ceremony and reception. I also have a $10,000 budget and so far have been able to stay under while splurging on things that I didn't think I'd be able to because of the deal I got there.

Barrister Gardens in Saint Clair Shores! I just got married there back on June 1st and it is absolutely stunning. They completely gutted the place and remodeled last March and it is very bright, well-lit, and full of marble. It was one of the cheapest options that I found too, and I feel like I had to have looked at almost 100 venues online. Good luck!

How many guests are you thinking? That matters a lot. Our wedding was "too small" for a lot of places.

Same here! I found a venue and I just added some extra family friends that we know would show up if we invited them. It’s crazy what these venues do, it’s either you need a minimum amount of people or a minimum amount of money spent

We have 85 including children guests which is cozy for the venue we have picked. We were looking in Livonia and everywhere wanted 100 adults min. We're at Greenmead Historical. We also considered less traditional venued such as the Dossin Museum on Belle Isle and Camp Dearborn and Lake Proud in Wixom. All had nice places under $4000 with no guest or price minimum but smaller places if your going much over 70 guests.

We wanted to rent what they call the Chalet, a pretty building with bay windows and a wrap around porch, and the surrounding grounds but I have anxiety and not having a weather contingency plan that suited all our guests bothered me.
