My wedding was originally in September but we postponed until December 31st which is New Year’s Eve! I’m kinda excited and kind skeptical. I’m just ready to have a blast but kind of skeptical of what people would think of a New Years even wedding which is a Thursday... what do you guys think ?

At this rate, I would love to go to a New Years Eve wedding so I can party 2020 goodbye 🤷‍♀️🤣😂

I agree with Tara - I think people will like it! And really all that matters is that you and your partner like it! If you want to do it, go for it.

I love NYE weddings. Most people love to get dressed up and celebrate on NYE so I’m sure your friends and family will love it.

I've always thought NYE weddings were a really cool idea, as long as your guests are up for a late night! And frankly, I think this year people will be so thrilled to say goodbye to 2020 that it will make for a great party.

I love it. That’s the date I originally wanted but because I’m in NYC a lot of parties a thrown that night and everywhere I inquired about was either already taken or wanted a 300 guest minimum.

I love the idea!! Countless people stay home and watch tv and don't have plans/invites so a wedding would be a fun way to ring in the new year with those you love most.
