Depends where you live..... if it's up here in New York I would say yes lol but if you are south and it's still going to be warm that would be fine I think. Up north people will dress in more winter warm attire and not really fit your theme well.

Agree with pp -- it depends on where you are. If you're doing a "summer-themed New Year's Eve" in Minnesota, I'd think that was super weird. However, in SoCal, it can be 80 degrees on NYE, so, yep, pretty much always summer-themed....

I think it would be weird unless you live south of the equator? I live in CA and I still think I would be surprised to see that. But at the end of the day, its your wedding and you should do what you want.
