Well our resort hotel for our destination beach wedding this coming Saturday has cancelled all reservations through mid April. And all beaches have been ordered closed where the ceremony would have been held. Ugh!!! We can postpone but not sure we want to. Our other option would be the fine arts museum outdoor elopement setting here in town, which was my original Plan B, but can only use Monday through Friday 9-5 and must be 30 days advance. I will contact them directly due to the circumstances about that 30 days thing. The other idea (which family and friends wanted in the first place) was a church wedding, which Is what I did NOT WANT. Had my heart set on an intimate beach wedding, or at least outside somewhere beautiful. Still, no more than 25 people which is fine with me.
I will find out something on Monday about an outdoor venue. Or whatever. Push come to shove we’ll do it at our pastor’s home. Best wishes to everyone going through these changes!
