Need Help with Finding a Black Dress!

Hi! Who has had luck with ordering a black wedding dress? I feel like I have spent hours upon hours searching black wedding dresses, black gowns, prom dresses, etc., and I can’t find one that is reasonably priced (<$1,000) that fits the look I am going for. I’ve attached some images of what I’m wanting - ball gown or A-line shape, lots of tulle, solid black, with long sleeves. Any help or advice as to where to look would be appreciated! I have even been asking around at my local bridal shops with no luck. Thank you!! 🖤

Cocomelody has several. They have a try on at home program and most reviews say they are very high quality. Otherwise just look at any black special occasion/prom/bridesmaid gown.

Have you tried looking for non wedding dresses? Like maybe look for a black body suit, & black tulle skirt?

Cocomelody has some amazing black dresses! One of them made me love the idea of a black wedding dress. I'm getting mine custom made by a local designer though.

This looks to be right on your brief (The picture is black/dusty pink, but they also do it in straight black.)

Here is a black dress from JJ’s House for only 68 bucks! You said you want to spend under 1000 so that gives you plenty of money to take it to a seamstress to have it altered the way you want it to be and a tool etc.

There’s also this one which is only 46 bucks… It’s a two piece however you could always take it to a seamstress at that price and have them alter it or make it a one piece etc. I don’t know how reputable the site is but it doesn’t seem like it’s a Chinese site

I had a friend who purchased a separate lace body suit and then a separate tulle cathedral over skirt and put them together. Couldn’t tell they were separate and it was gorgeous. I think skirt from Etsy and body suit from Amazon.

Where are you located at? One of the shops that has some pretty beautiful ones is called Bliss, mostly prom type stuff but they have a large selection of black dresses too!
