Need help with decoration ideas!

My theme is Once Upon A Dream, but not in the fairytale sense. More so in that I want it to have an overall dreamy feel and look. I’m envisioning clouds, the dark night sky with the moon and stars. I haven’t found that many others have this theme in this way, so every time I try to look up ideas I get Disney/princess elements, which I’m not going for at all. Do any creative minds have any ideas of how I could decorate for this? Our colors are navy blue, silver and gold accents, but reception area can have added colors like pinks or purples.

    Haha she is my favorite original Disney princess, so it works in that way, but I'm not a princess-y kind of girl, so it just wouldn't fit right, but thank you! Haha

    I think I'm going to try to look up night sky wedding, cause I'm afraid universe and galaxy wedding may be too planetary than I'm looking for. Thank you for the idea!

    I don't know how over the top you want to go, but maybe these could help with some direction or inspiration. Overall, I think lighting will have to be your focus to get the look you want.

    On Pinterest I searched "in the clouds wedding theme". Sometimes it helps to clear the cache or search on a different device if you keep seeing the same things.

    Aw, thank you! We rented cordless uplights from that company for only $25 each (easy set up). Their starry sky lights didn’t fit our theme but looked way cool!

    That's so nice and inexpensive! I just took a look at the website and I definitely think we're doing the starry night, if not then some cool uplighting to help create the color scheme I'm looking for.

    Oof! That's expensive! Our DJ charges extra for uplighting so we decided to find a cheaper alternative if we decided to go that route.
