Need help selecting a wedding band

Bridget, on May 15, 2019 at 8:57 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 10
Hi ladies! I have a pave setting (pictured) that comes with a matching band, but when I tried it on I didn’t love it. I’m thinking about maybe doing two thin rose or white gold plain bands and having my engagement ring in the middle. Please show me your wedding bands!

Beautiful ring! I chose a cathedral solitaire enhancer for mine. I think yours would look beautiful with the two bands. Good luck!

Two thinner white gold bands would look very nice with your ring. Plus you can always swap out your engagement ring for your matching band and still have them go nice together.

I think two thin bands would look great with your ring!! Something like these? I got my band and engagement ring from this Etsy shop and she’s awesome!

I chose not to have a wedding band and my ring looks similar to yours. If u truly like how it looks alone don’t feel pressured to have another band Smiley smile

My ring is identical to yours!! So im following this post because im in the same boat lol. I have the matching paved band as well and i just think it looks too much.. Im thinking of doing just a single white gold band. With the band i have now i tried it out by turning it upside down so just the white gold solid band was showing and i loved the look of that!

Just crept on your profile and I saw your resizing post! Definitely don’t be afraid to have it resized. I had a terrible experience with my jeweler and ended up needing to have it resized 3 times because they kept getting it wrong. My diamonds are almost all the way around and the small diamonds are fine! If you had a 1.5mm band I’d maybe say otherwise but your band is definitely thick enough to do a resize

My setting is similar, but I have a cushion cut! I had the same dilemma when picked out my wedding band since I didn't like the matching band. I ended up going with a plain 2 mm white gold band and I love it!

I think your best bet is to have one made. That’s what I had to do so that they would sit together right. I didn’t want much so just a very small matching band that I had made. I separated them a bit so you could see how tiny the band is. I wanted to have something but didn’t want to take away from my engagement ring.
