Need help picking photographer!

Have you talked or met with them yet? That was a HUGE deciding factor for me! If you're going purely on style I like Bottega53's a bit better because there's more color and life. But that's my personal taste, I'm not a huge fan of the really light almost washed out look that I've seen a lot of lately and worry that it's too "trendy" for long lasting memories.

They are both gorgeous IMO! Depends on your taste.

Thank you! I've Skyped with Bottega and just found Lace. I think I do prefer the style of Bottega more but the catch is: Lace is half the price of Bottega. It's such a significant cost difference that I'm wondering if I'm being too particular with this?

Best advice I can give is to meet them. I had two photographers who's work I loved and when my parents met with them in person for me (I planned long distance), one of them turned out to be a whackadoodle.

The photos are one thing from your day that will actually last forever. I would advise you to cut costs elsewhere (like invitations and decor) and splurge on a great photographer.

You should try and meet with both. I think how well you mesh with them is almost as important as skill.

I agree about the comments recommending meeting them both. We narrowed it down to two and meeting with them made our decision. One was super professional. The other was laid back, would take a long time responding to emails and was moving out of state slightly after our wedding date. Very happy with our choice. Recommend considering their professionalism.
