For budget friendly dresses, have you checked pre-owned options on sites such as Poshmark, StillWhite, or Facebook Marketplace? Often times, the original buyer may have changed their mind and switched to a different dress, so they list the old one for sale online. Those dresses often still have the tags on. Also check out Azazie - they have less expensive options, and they have a Try On At Home program so you could try it on before you buy. Happy dress shopping!

David's bridal is a good place fiancée going there. I went first to be I got married.

I went to a bunch of really amazing second hand bridal shops that I loved! Some dresses were just 600-800 and others were closer to 2k. This helped me a lot and even if you go to bridal shops and try stuff on, you might identify your dream dress and then find it on stillwhite! This wasn’t my plan originally but I fell in love at a bridal shop in Berlin with a dress that ended up being almost 3k over my ideal price range and by a miracle and by mom and I constantly searching for that exact dress on still white, I’m proud to say it’s on its way to me from Australia right now, I found someone with my same size which is rare but worth looking for! And I saved so much money and still get my DREAM dress and it’s as good as new!

I don't know how you feel about thrifting, but you could always check out places like Goodwill, etc. Or how you feel about Shein or Temu but I've seen some of their dresses and they're very pretty. Just a thought

I haven't gotten dresses per say but lots and lots of clothes. If it helps, always look at the reviews, as well as the photos attached. No review do not buy it. I only trust that site when there are reviews. You could also try looking at TikTok review videos of Shein and temu dresses, I have been seeing a lot of those go around lately.

Highly recommend Etsy. Know your designer, get something custom, avoid the sweatshops and don't break the bank.
