Need help deciding between styles

Can't decide between ball gown or fit n flair styleNeed help deciding between styles 1

I love both but they are so different. How would you decide on a style -- traditional princess or more sophisticated? The wedding is in the afternoon. I'm not dead set on one of these. Thoughts?

You look beautiful in both but I'm partial to the ball gown look because the bottom looks similar to mine

As much as I LOVE ball gowns, I don't like the illusion neckline. I would either have that removed or go with the fit and flare

I think both dresses are beautiful on you, the ball gidn definitely looks much more traditional to me so it depends on the feel you want for your wedding. I prefer the fit and flare myself, and I love the neckline on it. My FH also requested nothing “too poofy or bouffant,” what style do you think your fiancé would prefer to see you in? If you aren’t dead set on either of these, are you just looking for direction for further shopping?

I think I'm liking the 1st one. I love how poofy the skirt is and it is very flattering.

My vote is fit and flair but I'm not a fan of ball gown. I think you should try on more and see what stands out to you.

Thank you for all the comments!!!! Yes, my smile was bigger in that pic and everyone did say I was glowing in the ball gown. But I'm still torn. I will try more gowns for sure. I have an A-line gown that I like as well. Good problems to have, right! Smiley kiss

Good thoughts. Maybe I should check with the FH on the "poofy" issue.

I laughed at him when he said it because I did imagine a princessy ball gown when I was younger, but after trying on a couple I felt overwhelmed by all the fabric and loved the way fit and flare accentuated my waist. When I asked if he had any thoughts on what kind of dress to get before my first appt, I completely expected my FH to say “get whatever you like” because that’s what he’s told me on nearly everything else, but he surprised me. Now as far as color, fabric, neckline, etc he has no opinion.

I totally get it. I just texted him and he at first said "whatever you want" but when I mentioned a few styles, he wasn't crazy about the "princess" style dresses. We're not super young and I think something more mature might be better. Of course he likes fit and flare since its a little sexier lol.

I'm not a fan of the fit and flair style in general. I think the ball gown looks nice on you. It's a mild one. Saying "princess style" can mean a lot of things without seeing a picture. I would picture something much more extravagant and poofy. You can also usually have some "poof" removed from underneath if wanted.

Either way, go with your gut and what you like best!
