Need Advice-Should I get a perm to help w/ wedding hair?

I would really like to have fabulous hair for my wedding, but I am afriad that because my hair is super straight that curls won't hold up in August. DO you think getting a perm would be a good idea? I had one before when I was in highschool... It was a loose body wave.

Look into the Asian wave/digital perm I'm a licenced stylist but havent been doing anything with it for awhile but I remember someone coming in and demonstraiting this technice while I was in school and saying it was far less damaging but you needed to get special certification to actually use the process so I didn't go for it...the FutureMrsSperry's results sound pretty good
