I can't remember if it was on this site or a different one, but check out the Los Angeles Police Academy rock garden. Beautiful and extremely cheap.

LA River and Garden center is really nice, and their prices vary based on your guest count. However, you have to provide your own catering http://www.herecomestheguide.com/location/detail/los-angeles-river-center-and-gardens/

I looked at this venue, and while the ceremony is indoors, it has huge windows to look outside... http://www.santaanitachurch.org/ceremony/weddings.htm

The Harding Golf Clubhouse at Griffith Park charges per person, starting at $27.95. They have an outdoor ceremony space and an indoor reception space that would totally fit your group. Here's pics from a wedding I coordinated there last year, at http://bandgphotography.com/blog/?p=233 and you can call Mike Begakis at 310-420-7709 for info about the Clubhouse.

Los Angeles is experiencing a renaissance. As a result, affordable venues are getting more and more difficult to find. Try a private caterer that specializes in matching couple with venues to meet your budget. My recommendation would be Summit Event Catering. They have amazing chefs, they are affordable and they have alot of great venues available to them. www.summitevents.com Ask for Veronica. She's a specialist in this arena. Best Wishes on an amazing wedding.

Los Angeles Wedding Venues are becoming more and more expensive. Having a coordinator always helps find the best deals. I mean, at least we do!

I found a cheap and very nice outdoor wedding venue in the forest of los angeles.

you can bring your own food and booze if you want too.

Two awesome things that we found!

www.socalweddingconsultant.com offers a $10,000 all inclusive wedding package for 50 guests at a beautiful venue (includes food, alcohol, flowers, photo, officiant, etc.)

Also, www.lastminutewed.com Not sure if they have venues, but they had discounts on TONS of vendors in LA.
