Nail biter trying to grow nails for wedding

I was hoping to grow my natural nails long enough that i didnt need to add tips, but i have been unsuccessful. Im a nail biter, i did stop for a month or so, but got stressed and starting biting again. Ive been taking a "hair, skin, nails" supplement, and its been helping, but i have to figure out...

I was hoping to grow my natural nails long enough that i didnt need to add tips, but i have been unsuccessful. Im a nail biter, i did stop for a month or so, but got stressed and starting biting again. Ive been taking a "hair, skin, nails" supplement, and its been helping, but i have to figure out how to stop biting my nails. Any suggestions???

    For your wedding, I think you'll have to go with the gels. There's not enough time to grow them (although I'd do a regular manicure and polish to see how they look. Short nails can look terrific if professionally manicured).

    For after the wedding, I'd try one of the Barielle nail products. I discovered them in Saks about 35 years ago, and their products dramatically increased the strength (and hence, the length) of my nails. They do have a nail biting product. Here's the link:

    OMG I've been biting my nails forever! Then I will stop for months and then start back up again! I am trying to get mine grown out a decent amount for my bridal shower that's the first weekend of June. When I actually do grow them out, they are long and beautiful so I need to stop chomping! Good luck to you! I think your nails are looking good so far.

    Try a powder gel mani. It lasts way longer than regular gel, no uv light. My nails break so easy. This is length after 3 weeks. They are pricey ($35 on Long Island) but last 2+ weeks and keep your nails strong!
