My Wedding Dress Straps

Please help! I LOVE absolutely everything about my dress except for the Straps. I am rather large busted and the Straps on my Dress cut into my shoulders. Aside from that point, I would really like them to be thicker, giving the Dress a more sleeveless look than a strapped look (like in the second picture). I also believe the thicker straps would take away some attention from my large bust. What is everyone's thoughts on this?

Love your dress! Do you have plans to wear a necklace? That could help redirect attention from your bust.

Has your dress (the 2nd one) been fitted and altered and everything? It's a lovely dress you have picked. I think the third dress is a totally different style so it's hard to say whether the thicker straps would work on your dress as well .

Number 1 and number 2 are actually the same dress. Number 1 was just the sample dress I initially tried on

No it hasn't been altered yet. That's why I posted this because I have my first fitting in 1 week. I wanted to be prepared with my needs

Cool. I think the alterations specialist will be able to help you by altering the dress and also show you thicker straps and thinner straps and any other things you might need .

When you get your dress altered, they should be able to alter the straps so they don't dig in so much. They could also show you different ways they could alter the straps to fit your needs. I'd say bring the necklace you plan on wearing to see how everything looks together.

I think the straps on the last dress look soooo flattering on you. I definitely think you could bring this up in alterations and get new straps sewn on, most bridal shops have plenty of options on hand!

This dress is so beautiful on you. I would mention adding thicker straps to the seamstress and I am sure they can do that for you.
