My wedding Dress is Ivory. Should my Linens be White or Ivory?

Erica, on July 29, 2018 at 1:06 AM Posted in Planning 0 5

I am afraid if I get white linens they will either clash with my Ivory dress or make it look dingy.. Should I stick to linens that match my dress? I am really not sure which I should go with and my partner is not much help when I ask him. Haha Any answers will help me decide. Thanks

An ivory wedding dress will not look dingy next to white. It will just look ivory. Don't match your attire with the decor. Instead the color of your linens should be based on your overall decor including floral arrangements, place settings, etc.

I went with ivory linens because my dress is ivory. I was worried that my dress would like dirty next to white.

I'm with Earias. White will be fine and you need to think in a broader sense than the color of your wedding dress.

You don’t need to match your linens to your dress and white will not make your dress look dingy. If you’re buying linens with the intent to resell afterwards I would go with white as it’s more common and should be easier to unload.

You don't want to match your decor. My dress is ivory and my linens are white. The linens are going to flow with our colors and decor.
