My mum and I walked into the shop one day just for fun and to see what I wanted to do for my look. So I put on about 5 dresses and this one was the last one I tried on and I fell in love with the shawl type thing at the top and the beautiful details in the bodice and how it poofed out on the bottom. Ball gowns have always been my thing and it confirmed everything that I was wanting. I have always loved Beauty and the Beast and her dress just amazed me ever since I was a little girl I loved that yellow/gold ball gown dress she wore.

I originally wanted a trumpet, but fell in love with a ball gown! Might add the off the shoulder sleeves to it, but i’m Not sure yet 🤔

My mom and grandma both wore my dress! First pic is my mom and second is my grandma. Then me with the alterations we had done I had to open up the back and wanted it to be less poofy so we took off a lot of extra material. I love the way the alterations turned out 😍

I couldn’t wear heels at all but I bought some “fat” or thick heels at a flea market and I wear them all the time trying to get use to it, I actually tripped once and broke the heel had to glue it back, but now I am use to it and love the way they make me feel, I stopped growing when I was 12 lol my height looks so funny on the walk at my parents over the years. I’m only a centimeter taller than I was at 12. Ball gown wasn’t my original idea, I wanted a flowy/ sheath dress, I tried several on, some were pretty some made my tummy too noticeable and then boom I found this dress and it just, was the one.

Dresses are gorgeous!! I wanted to add sleeves to mine but im to scared i wont like it. I had my top 3 dresses were more ball gowns and i went back to chose and saw my dress on a hanger. Wondered why i didnt try it on. As its a fit and flare it was hard getting it over my thighs so i put it back on hanger (the dress my godmother picked out). My girl squeezed me in and i fell in love. I but i hate my arms thats where the sleeve thought comes to mind.

View Quoted Comment Mine wouldn’t upload either, I stopped trying for a couple weeks and then it worked suddenly. I don’t know why it does that! I was worried I won’t like sleeves either, but when I go to my dress fitting they are going to try it out, I know I’ll love it, but you could probably have them hold it over your arm to show you during your fitting.
