My wedding day is today!

Ruby, on October 8, 2017 at 7:21 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 8

My wedding is in a few hours and I have not eaten any heavy foods for a while. My stomach has been really sensitive lately. I kinda over drank at my bachelorette celebration. Would it be ok to just drink tea or should I actually eat hardy food? I'm so afraid of it not settling well.

Could you have some toast? Or maybe rice? Those things are typically safe foods for an upset stomach. I definitely suggest something more than just tea since you need something to absorb the extra alcohol. I hope you feel better soon!! Enjoy your wedding!

Congratulations to you guys! Enjoy every moment on this special day. I was the same way I was nauseous and didn't want to eat anything. I had a 3/4 of a turkey sandwich and I felt extremely nauseous I recommend eating small things just so you are not on an empty stomach. But don't force yourself to eat anything heavy. Congratulations again, and enjoy your special day, best wishes to you and your future husband!

Have some toast or crackers to help settle your stomach. I would avoid caffeine right because it can irritate so if you choose to have tea have decaf tea. I would even say have a glass of milk, but everyone is different. Milk settles my stomach but it upsets my FHs.

Peppermint tea helps aid in digestion and should settle your stomach. I hope you feel better and have an amazing day!!

Can you get a protein bar? That should hold you over until you feel like eating

You may want to send someone out to get you some pepto bismol and ginger ale.
