My venue burnt down!!!

Hi everyone!
I'm not normally one who posts a ton but I felt I had to share in hopes that my fellow brides know this crazy stress and this would be the safe place to vent!

Let me catch you up... to this point, its been EASY! Weve had a longer engagement over 1 year. So when it came time to start planning we knew we what we wanted! We found the perfect place! We were finding the best deals and had the best date! I should have known better! Iv seen bride wars! Haha well as I was on a business trip for a week and a half I get a email as I am walking into a meeting..to make a long store short..our perfect venue was hit by lighting and had significantly been burned!!

WHAT! Lighting! Anyway that's what went through my mind when I read it. But I couldn't respond so I hit forward and sent it to my loving fiance and moved on with my day.

He was amazing at staying clam and reassuring me! He even talked to the venue to get our money back and they offered a few other venues for us to look at that had similar packages.

But what in the world? Is this a sign? No way this happens often? And thank God it happened 200 days out and not 10!!

Any way I just had to share as we are now starting from square one with a possible date change! I'm stressed to my max!!
