That dress is to die for. Did your mother know you picked that one before she gave her opinion? I’m sorry you’re dealing with such negativity. I feel that the dress is gorgeous, and if it is “the one” then only you can know that.

Your support and positively means a lot to me ....I know that everyone has a different style and it’s okay to dislike what I like and agree to disagree in a respectful manner , however the way my mom said what she said about my dress was a bit off , she said it’s uglt and I should get something else but the way she said it her tone of voice was demanding that’s what I didn’t like but I’m totally ok with her not liking it because hey everyone has different tastes and likes , but she should have said it different maybe not so demanding lol idk maybe I’m overreacting

Not everyone was a fan of my dress either, but I love it, it fits and I feel comfortable in it.

I imagine this dress is the same for you, and that's all that should matter.

Hopefully your mother can accept that it's the dress you want and stop hassling you to get something else.

I think the dress is lovely, but ultimately, it only matters if you like it and feel comfortable in it.

I never understood people who have a strong opinion on a dress that they're not going to wear. I understand if a mother wants to make sure her child looks her best on her wedding, but really, that's not alright for someone to be so rude.

If you love the dress you should go for it. Your mom may not like it but she won't be wearing it. My mom wants to help me pick out a dress but I honestly don't want her to see it till I'm walking down the isle cause she will have the exact opposite taste of me or say it's too much $$ when she's not even paying for it.
