My Former Wedding Weekend (2/6/21)

Our wedding was supposed to be this Saturday . We booked a hotel suite but instead of cancelling, we decided to just keep the reservation and try to enjoy the weekend anyway. It's definitely bittersweet.

Anyone else who was supposed to be this week(end) who ended up postponing or still moving forward?? If postponed, are you still doing something??

Big hugs. Our original date was July 25, 2020. We postponed to Feb 6, 2021 and are moving forward. We drastically cut down the guest list. We didn’t want to postpone again.

Definitely honor the day and do something fun. For our original date we took a mini vacation to go hiking. Once this weekend passes the excitement will come back for the new date 🙂

That's awesome. We would have been date twins lol. If push comes to shove, we will definitely be cutting our guest list as well so we're hoping, if anything, we can move forward in the fall or winter this year. It sucks having such a big family.

I'm so sorry that you guys ended up having to postpone your wedding day. For me, my fiancee and I were able to find another new venue.
