What are a few of your must-haves in a wedding venue? What is top priority on your list and what are you willing to let slide?

Some of my top priorities include: ceremony and reception in 1 location, easily accessible restrooms, open floor space, ability to use vendors of my own choosing, and a contact person/event coordinator that is easy to speak with, accommodating, and accessible.

    All of those are good! For me I would include that that must allow outside catering because tbh all of the venues that provide the food are high class rich people meals that none of my guests will eat 😖😖

    For daughter, she wanted both ceremony and reception at the same location with tons of photo backdrop options. Her first choice was an outdoor ceremony, but the venue had to have an excellent "plan B" in case of bad weather.

    I agree with everything you asked for. My own catering company, located for both ceremony and reception. A place to get ready at. The only thing I’m not getting is a wedding director.

    Lots of your Must-Haves are in line with what I was looking for. In addition, I was very set on an outdoor wedding. Therefore I needed a place that could accommodate a tent/ already had a tent set up for us.

    For me it was a Plan B, getting to choose my own vendors, the ceremony and reception being at the same location, and being able to serve alcohol.
