Mountain venues in the west coast that are affordable?

Hi everyone! We are having a wedding on a weekday of next year. Either looking at March 2024 or May 2024. Our budget is $5000 but might go up to $8000 (no more than that). Our wedding will include no more than 50 people and maybe even less than that. We are looking for a venue that is Rustic and Naturistic. We want a venue that lets you bring in your own catering, etc… to try and avoid high catering fees most venues and packages offer. I know this is asking for a lot but it’s worth a shot. We are looking for something in the west coast in these states: California, Washington, Oregon. Below is a list of things I’ve already looked into:

    Maybe Idyllwild, california.

    Arnold, California or nearby Angels camp (Greenhorn Creek Resort).

    That Angels Camp (in the same area) is really low for off season.

    Hi Bell,

    I toured a venue in a small town in Southern California that is BEAUTIFUL. The venue is up in a hill and overlooks the greenery in some part of the town and has the mountains as a beautiful background. You will have to give them a call and check with their pricing since I toured last year and I believe it was under $5,000. The only thing is that you and your guest will have to book all 12 guest rooms in that property. I would have picked this as my venue if I had a smaller wedding because the capacity is 100 people for their largest area and I have a guest count of 150. The venue is called Ojai Retreat & Inn. Hope that helps!
