My fiance and I have set a date for our wedding and booked our reception venue. The wedding will take place on Saturday, May 10th 2014, which happens to be Mother's Day weekend. There were several reasons why we ended up choosing this date, which I won't get into, but I did have a little concern after reading some other posts about some florists not wanting to do weddings around Mother's Day, or wedding flowers being extremely expensive around the holiday. Is there anyone out there who's had a wedding close to Mother's Day who could offer up her experience/advice? I'd just like to get a sense of how early I should start trying to book a florist, and how much more expensive I should expect the flowers to be. Any information would be very helpful!
