Mother wants to wear all white!!

I just saw your pic. You're right. That's inappropriate for a MOB.

It's very sexy no I showed her the dress when I bought it for my bridal shower and she told me then that she wanted to buy it from me for the wedding, it is see through top and bottom lace, but she really loves the dress so I gave it to her, She is my mom!!

It is pretty on her, she took it from me and went and put it on lol, but it's a very sexy dress. I just had a completely different Vision for my mom on my wedding day thats all. I just wanted someone else's opinion on what I should do ? Bring it up to her or just leave it alone!!

I sent her a pic of another white dress if she really has to wear white!!

I think I am going to buy her this dress and have her try it on if she likes it ( I really am praying she does ) and will wear it instead, much more MOB dress!

I also bought her shoes that she loved to wear to the wedding!

I really am not worried about that as much as I am her looking inappropriate, If I didn't care I would say anything but I do so, I am just going to get the other dress and ask GOD to change her mind lol!!!

I have a pretty open line of communication with my mom so I would suggest a different color or dress

But because you are asking I'm assuming it might not be received so well so in that case I say just let it go if it will add to drama

Maybe your mom honestly doesn't know that it's inappropriate for anybody other than the bride to wear white to a wedding. I would be upfront with her and offer to help her shop.

I did its ok I still have time to convince her to possibly get another dress!!!

Explain to her nicely that you want to be the only one wearing white on your wedding day. Your not necessarily dictating what she should wear but you are just stating that you want to be the only one in white on your wedding day. I do not think that is unreasonable or rude of you to do so.

Super rude... yeah you shouldn't tell people how to dress but wearing white is a total bitch move. I would definitely tell her how you feel. Maybe you can compromise and she can wear a blush or champagne color?

I actually like when the bridal party and mom wear white or ivory I've seen it and it looks beautiful! Personal preference of course though . Is your dress white white maybe she can wear ivory or cream ?

I honestly don't care if anyone wore white to my wedding.
