Mori Lee 5108 help!!

Brittany Ann, on July 21, 2013 at 7:55 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 29

Any brides wearing this style (or one similar, of course) what kind of veil are you wearing with the dress? I have always wanted a chapel length veil but I wasn't able to try one on in the shop with my dress...

Anyway, I'd love to see pictures of you in your similar dresses and veils!!

This is my dress:

...also, in the photo from the website, how do you think she made it that "fluffy"?! haha

I can't really help with that, but I think chapel length would look gorgeous with that dress.

I wonder if she has extra crinoline under the skirt to make it puffy? I think chapel length would look good, and I also think one to the middle of your back would look nice.

ETA: Gorgeous dress! You look amazing in it!

I wish I had a picture of the back! Sorry ladies! Smiley sad

but yes, with the dress being "plain" I would love to have a really gorgeous veil..

and thanks, Rachel. I have my eye on chapel right now!

@Megan - I was wondering that, too. If she's wearing a slip under? Of course, my dress would probably need to be fluffed up, according to the people at the bridal shop. The picture above is wearing the dress right out of the bag.

I'm wearing a mermaid style gown. I like the cathedral, finger tip & chapel length veils. I tried on the finger tip length veil over the weekend, it really enhanced the look of my gown.

@Robin, thanks a bunch! That helps a lot. The back of my gown is a corset, I need to find a picture of it...just a second!

Here we go, added a photo of the back!

A friend wore a similar style and she wore a birdcage. And yes, there is crinoline under that dress. Probably something like one of these

@Latrice, it's such a fabulous dress. I LOVE it! No one has it near you? That makes me sad...

I had to drive an hour away to try it on, but the shop owner took 20% off for me to persuade me to buy it. I think I ended up paying $570.

ForeverMyLove - THANK YOU! I will have to purchase one, then. It makes a ton of difference!

My dress is a similar silhouette and I am going with a birdcage. Decided I didn't want a veil hanging down my back (large peacock feather tattoo that I don't want to cover up) and it is just more my style

I've just always pictured myself with a long veil on my wedding day...

Brittany I'm wearing a similar dress from the same designer. You are the first person I know who also has a Mori Lee! Yeah buddy!!! I'm going to order a birdcage to make my dress puffier in the bottom.

Can I just say how beautiful you look in that dress? You should be the model for it!

This is off-topic but why are there three ladders behind her? Is she getting married on a construction site? I never get these "designer" photos. BTW you look great in that dress and I agree with OTW, you should be the model.

    Hi Brittany Ann!

I know you posted this question a while ago but I was wondering what you decided & I you have a picture of it...

I have the same dress, Mori Lee 5108, to wear for my wedding next year. I LOVE it! And I'm debating what length veil to wear, too! I love the look of chapel length with lace trim... I most likely wont be able to try one on with my dress.

I have looked for the Mori Lee 5108 EVERYWHERE and cannot find it! Could someone let me know where I could? Or, if anyone is willing to sell theirs after their wedding, I'd be willing to buy it!

    Hi Liz!

Try contacting anyone who sells More Lee around you, they can special order it for you! I found the dress on pinterest and knew it was the one for me, so I called every bridal shop in the state and fortunately found the dress an hour away from me, which wasn't bad considering the price of the dress, I was willing to make a little trip!
