More photos after wedding?

Brianna N, on October 28, 2019 at 11:47 AM Posted in Planning 1 9

Hey everyone Smiley smile We did it! We were married on 10/12! I will post a BAM soon with pics and advice and my take on everythingSmiley smile

In the meantime, I have been worrying about our photos. My photog was supposed to pull us out near sunset for some pictures of my husband and I, but that never happened. So, we never got any of the pretty pictures of us kissing/candid shots/etc., only the posed smiling photos. We are waiting to get our photos back, but we are thinking of hiring a photog to take pictures of us somewhere pretty in our wedding garb so that we can get some of the photos we missed.

Has anyone done this or heard of anyone doing this? Does it seem like a good idea or silly since the wedding is over? Any opinions welcome! Thank you all for all of your support, I couldn't have done it without WW.

I've heard of this being done! I actually considered it because my church isn't very pretty to go get wedding photos done at a pretty church with stained glass windows. I think if you really want it you should do it!

I agree with PP, if you want to do it, do it and don't worry about other people's opinion.

A lot of ppl do this. My bff did it and it was kind of a disaster though. Her husband was a jerk about it, he didn’t pick up his tux in time so they had to reschedule, then it poured rain and they lost the make up artist and flower booking and spent a fortune finding someone else last minute. But I think it’s a good idea if executed well.

I think it's totally fine but I'd wait until you get your pictures back. A lot of people get pictures taken on their honeymoon or anniversaries!

This is not as uncommon as you'd think. My sister actually did this, for the same reason. A few days after they returned from their honeymoon, they donned their wedding clothes, and met their photographer at a local park at just before sunset. The pictures came out beautifully, and you'd never know they weren't taken on their wedding day, as they look exactly the same as the ones taken at the wedding!! Go for it!!

A wedding photo shoot is a crucial moment in organizing a wedding celebration. After all, these will be www.customwriting-s.com/about_us.php pictures of happy moments and of course I want everything to be perfect.

We're thinking of having an anniversary photoshoot where we get back into our wedding garb and take some photos that we missed being able to take on our wedding day due to various circumstances.

A high school friend had rain on his wedding day, and they had a whole separate outdoor photoshoot on a sunny day.
