Mom wears a white gown to my wedding??

Lol I’ve had so many wedding nightmares that I know would never happen. But there is a wedding group on Reddit and I’ve seen many moms on there in white dresses...you never know.

Cheer up! My wedding nightmares involved the wrong bride showing up, and my desperately searching for NotFroofy. I'm pretty sure that would have been worse than a mom in a white dress!

I actually read an article where the grooms mother showed up in a white wedding dress! The bride gracefully laughed it off and said if you know her, that’s just how she is, and she didn’t make a fuss over it. Can’t say I would react as gracefully, but that story had me feeling ways lol

My MIL chose an ivory lace dress to wear to our Mexico wedding. She said it was the perfect dress for a beach wedding. Yup. If you’re the bride (who was also wearing an ivory lace dress). My SIL took care of it.

My wedding nightmare was my dress was a huge poofy 80s dress in neon pink and camo.

You could offer to go dress shopping with your mom!

My mom talked to me a few weeks ago that maybe I should consider getting a rental dress and it immediately made me depressed and I started picturing following through on this but on my wedding day, I trip on it, the train or whatever is too long and I end up having a major wardrobe malfunction and then I end up in therapy for life! Not an actual nightmare I had while sleeping, but still...

I would talk to your mom and make sure she understands that you're the only one who is supposed to wear white, so fiction doesn't become reality.

Oh no!!! My FW wore one of those late 80s poofy hats at her first wedding and I may have had a slight moment over it. Neon pink and camo = Full body shudder!

Maybe you should offer to take your mom shopping for her MOB dress!! That way you can keep an eye on things and avert disaster!!

Thankfully it was just a dream! Hopefully your mom won't pull that off for real!
