MOG morning of wedding

I'm wondering what the MOG does the morning of the wedding? Does she get ready with my and my bridesmaids and my mom? Am I supposed to invite her? We're not close but I'm not sure what is typically done. Like are my hair and makeup people supposed to do her hair and makeup too?

I invited mine, but she declined. I figured she'd feel more comfortable getting ready on her own/with her family, but asked to be polite.

There's really no definitive answer here. It's not like she's an honor attendant. She may want to get beautified at home and make her grand entrance when she's all polished and ready to go. She may want to be in close proximity of her son, much like the MOB is in close proximity to her daughter.

Just ask her -- no pressure. Just let her know you don't want to schedule those last few private hours with her son. She'll let you know what she wants to do -- and as long as she isn't feeling any pressure from you to be at a particular place at a particular time, she'll be honest.

I was planning on inviting mine to the hotel to get ready with us (& cover her costs, just as I am my mom & BM). She actually already secured other arrangements for hair and makeup (her step-granddaughter is a stylist, so she's not paying for it). I'll still invite her to come early and hang out with us, but I don't know what her husband would do in the meantime, so she probably won't come.
