My FH has been in the military for 26+ years and is very much wanting to have a table set up at the wedding to honor, not only fallen soldiers who he has known personally, but all of the men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice for out country. I am so honored to be marrying a man who loves his country and wants to pay tribute in such a meaningful way.

The issue I am running in to is that I keep seeing different ways to set the table up. The main difference being that some tables are set with a red ribbon on the vase and others with a yellow ribbon. I just want to make sure that it is done appropriately. Has anyone had this or seen this table set up before? Any recommendations or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I think yellow ribbon is if the soldiers are still alive and the family is waiting for them to come home. (Thinking about the song where they tie a yellow ribbon round the old oak tree) you might want to go with more patriotic colors. Maybe there is a color for fallen soldiers
