Minted, the Knot or Wedding Wire

DeLarrah, on July 19, 2019 at 12:38 PM Posted in Planning 1 32
I’m looking for the most user friendly website, I’m really big on RSVPs and some type of wedding fund I can create ohhh and a cute design where the invitations and website match. Any suggestions?

I can’t vouch for any others, but we have a WeddingWire website and it kind of stinks. The designs aren’t great, the layouts are weird, and it’s super glitchy. I definitely wouldn’t use it for RSVPs.

I've heard good things about the RSVP feature for The Knot!

Zola is pretty good for RSVPs and layouts. It also has many different options for wedding funds and registries.

I did the Minted suite - website, invitations that match and online RSVP but then used Zola for our honeyfund, gifts, etc.

I have been using WW for planning things but not the website. I have a friend who is getting married next month, she used Zola for the RSVPs and her website. SUPER easy to use and the layout was really nice!

I use The Knot and I love it! Super easy, and I haven't had any issues with RSVP's, glitches, etc.

I haven't used any of these. I created my site on wix.com. It's super easy and maneuverable. EVERYTHING is customizable and there's an RSVP page. I added the company's logo for our registry on our site and linked the direct website. The only thing with my site though is I made it before we finalized our color scheme so it doesn't match our invites but it definitely matches our personalities and I love it to bits. I'm doing all our invites and such through Zazzle.

We did Minted. You can do it where the website matches your invitation suite.

I built websites with all of them, to test them out. I preferred Wedding Wire's because it gave me more flexibility with the design. I was able to upload my own background that I designed to match my invitations, so it all coordinates. I'm thrilled Smiley smile

So far I’m liking Zola, it’s very simple and simplistic. A one stop shop.

I'm using WW for the simple fact that I didn't want to have 3 different wedding guest lists and I'd already created one here for RSVPs and one on excel for my OCD. It's not THE cutest, but it serves its purpose... www.alliandhunter.com if you want to check it out!

I think matching website to invites, you're looking at Minted.
I used Weebly to build my site.
    Used Minted for address collection.
I'm currently figuring out if I want to use The Knot or Zola for RSVPs.

I’ve been using the knot and haven’t had any issues, and some of the layouts match minted invitations. We have friends getting married later this year who also used the knot, and from the guest side RSVPing was super easy. A couple other friends got married this past spring and used Zola for their website and honeymoon fund, no issues RSVPing there either and gifting through their fund was easy. We got a thank you, so I’m sure they got it fine.

We are using minted for invites, website, and RSVPs. For the website, I thought it had the nicest user interface and matching invitation artwork. I found the knot and WW to have better customization options for the website, but graphically it just wasn’t our preference. We are both designers and I am doing all the printed materials besides the invites and website, so it was a priority to have a consistent design. We found a minted design that was similar to what I had already mocked up for our save the dates.

We uploaded our guest list easily which was used to generate the addressing on our invitations and I have been able to easily contact guests through there when we’ve updated info on the website. I’ve played with the RSVP function and it is really easy to use.

We are playing with linking a couple of different traditional registries to a universal registry (blueprint) to add to the website.
