Mimosa bar - how many would you drink?

If you were at a lunch reception with a mimosa bar, how many mimosas would you drink? Keeping in mind there's also fancy lemonade and ice tea as well as beers, Perrier and San Pellegrino fruit drinks.

Flutes of mimosas go down in two sips. I can drink like 4-5 an hour probably. So yummyyyy

Bubbles are my drink of choice as well ~ and I go super light on the juice (it's there for coloring!) ... so, definitely more than 3 depending on the length of the reception!

I'd also suggest mango juice for your mimosa bar ... SO good Smiley smile

Mimosas are my fav! Probably 5 only because i'm a light weight. If there is a lot of juice in them so that they aren't too strong, I could probably drink more. Besides the mimosas, I'd probably have a glass of water with lunch

I don't know how many I'd drink, but I can tell you that there are a lot of medications out there that when you're taking them, you cannot have citrus. So some people won't be able to have any.

    2. How many hours is your reception?

I went to a bridal shower last week with a great mimosa bar... orange juice, grapefruit juice, and blueberry lemonade (which was the most popular). So good.

I would serve bottomless. And I would consume bottomless.

I would say i'd probably do 3 an hour during an unlimited brunch. Add in a party environment and i'm bound to drink more.

So considering how popular mimosas seem to be... I think I'm going to scratch the lemonade and just add more mimosas lol.

I wanted to say 5-6 but realistically I'll probably have 3 because I drink really slow for some reason. How long is the reception? I usually drink 1 drink per hour. That's how slow I drink.

Oh the reception is 4 hours... Ceremony ends at 12:30 and people will find their tables/seats and grab a mimosa or other drink for a toast, lunch is served at 1 and desserts at 3 with guests leaving at 4:30.

I was thinking since it will be warm out I should assume people might drink more than normal so I was going to budget 6 drinks plus water over 4 hours per person? So I could assume 2-3 mimosas/person, 2 beers/person, 2 San Pellegrino fruit drinks/person (the beer drinkers will probably not have mimosas and vice versa, or have one at most), and have extra champagne so people can have a glass of that straight without juice if they want, on top of their mimosas.
