A future MOH was on here looking for ideas for showers - I wanted to post for them as well as any other brides planning your own showers/engagement parties... I work part time as a personal chef and here are some recent set ups I did for showers - very easy to do and extremely cost effective...

    Sorry for the grainy pic it was before I got my droid... I actually think the last one is a baby shower but it could be easily converted

    The cake above has all of the brides favorite things....there was a mini candy bar next to it w/ all of her favorite candies in decorative jars from IKEA

    The cookies would be great as favors - as u can see, u can buy any color chocolate to match your theme... bag them, put a bow on them, and get those cute favor tags

    And all of the brides favorite candy...the budget was not alot but the bridal party still wanted something meaningful and personal
