When do you send out invites exactly? If save the dates were sent prior.

We have the same date. We are having RSVPs due Sept 22 and probably will send them out Late July.

We are sending out Save the Dates in October so guests don't get confused on which October (this or next)

Mid July. But I'm team send the invites early.

I've said it before but I have kids and a demanding job, the more time you give me the better.

We sent ours out May 15th, RSVP due date June 24th (yesterday). Wedding is July 15th.

ETA: you should send them 6-8 weeks out. But also if your wedding is in 2018 there's no way you should have an RSVP date of a year in advance.

A good rule of thumb for invites is 3 months prior to the wedding if it's a destination wedding, two months if it's not. If you sent save the dates to everyone you plan to invite, you can get away with less lead time, but if you only sent them to VIPs, you should give your other invited guests (especially out-of-town guests) plenty of notice so they can make arrangements for travel, child care, etc.

My guest count isn't due til 10 days before, and I talk to most of our guests at least weekly. We are sending invitations in early August.

@Kerry how could we possibly know that? You didn't say that anywhere in the original question. That would have been helpful for us to know. And the rest of us don't live and breathe WW either but when you post a question it helps to come back and let us know if the advice helped you.
