Metal Straw Wedding Favors

Cassie, on October 5, 2021 at 2:43 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 6
I think I've finally decided on wedding favors that won't go to waste! I want to get engraved metal straws (just with our wedding date) for our guests so if people don't keep them we can just keep as we use them often.

My only problem now is where to get them. Our wedding is small, 50 people at most but I can't find a place to get them engraved. My first thought was vistaprint but no luck. Does anyone have ideas?

That's a fun idea! Do you already have the straws, and just need them engraved? If so, check on Thumbtack or Google for metal engraving services near you! You might also want to check with a jeweler who does engravings for rings. Etsy might have options as well.

I do think this is a fun idea, however, in reality it’s a pretty counterproductive. If you’re environmentally cautious, I’d skip the favors all together as almost all end up in the trash or left behind.

As a guest I'd probably leave this favor behind. I don't know of a lot of people who use straws, metal or otherwise, these days. But it's your wedding, so do you! Smiley smile

Amazon sells them under $12 for a pack of 30. You don’t need to spend money engraving them. Be aware that many people will leave them behind or toss them in the trash. I have a couple metal straws but they are too much work to clean, and don’t know anyone else who uses them. Save your money for food/bar/dj that guests will notice and appreciate.
